Seasilver Review

Seasilver liquid vitamin -- it seems it's being advertised everywhere, from radio ads, to thousands of Distributors online all singing its praises.

Many of these websites we've seen claim Seasilver has an almost total absorption rate, often quoted as high as 98%.

Many of these same sites are also shouting from the rooftops that 90% of the nutrients taken in a tablet or pill form are going straight down your toilet.

But the important question is: are any of these claims true?

Are there any real benefits to taking seasilver liquid vitamin?

At Nutritional-Supplement-Info.com we will present the facts--our personal seasilver review--and let each of you make up your own mind.

Seasilver Review

Seasilver Fraud Or Health Wonder?

First, let's begin with the claim that supplements taken in tablet or pill form are 90% excreted and wasted.

This is a very misleading statement simply because there is a huge variation in supplement quality.

On the one hand, you have cheap vitamins that are mass produced and sold in huge supermarket chains. These supplements are made using the cheapest ingredients possible, as well as the cheapest excipients (excipients are what bind the ingredients together).

Because of these factors, the nutrients are mostly released in the stomach, and end up largely destroyed by stomach acids.

In the case of these supplements, 90% of the vitamins can indeed end up wasted.

On the other hand, there are companies that manufacture highly sophisticated supplements, sometimes referred to as nutraceuticals. These companies can use extremely expensive all natural, potent ingredients and excipients.

Such products can have highly sophisticated delivery systems. In fact, the best of them have excipients that ensure the majority of nutrients are absorbed via the lining of the walls of the upper intestine, allowing them to enter the bloodstream where they go to work.

In short, it is extremely misleading for anyone to try and claim all tablet supplements have poor absorption. Comparing supermarket variety vitamins to sophisticated nutraceuticals is like comparing apples to oranges--in other words, there is no comparison.

Seasilver Review: Absorption of Seasilver Liquid Vitamin

Now, let's discuss the alleged 98% (or greater) absorption claimed by some of these Seasilver liquid vitamin sites we've seen.

This is also misleading.

To understand why, let's briefly discuss the different ways in which nutrients can get into your bloodstream:

1) By injection...must be performed by a clinic or physician. For example, vitamin B12 or HGH can be introduced this way.

2) Through the mucous membranes of the mouth via a sublingual tablet or liquid. This can be highly effective for certain nutrients, but does not work for many others simply because many nutrients possess molecules that are too large to be absorbed via the mucous membranes.

3) Via the lining of the walls of the upper intestines. (Discussed above, this is how many of the best nutraceuticals work).

4) Via the lining of the colon walls using suppositories (which are prescription items and are not applicable to supplements).

5) No specific delivery system.

It is the last category that cheap vitamins you buy in the supermarket fall into, as well as the Seasilver liquid vitamin.

Seasilver is simply drank as is. It necessarily enters the stomach where the vast majority of the active nutrients are destroyed. We have seen no scientific evidencethat would dictate anything to the contrary.

Seasilver also contains a fair amount of preservatives, not something we would recommend for those interested in a truly beneficial natural health product.

The bottomline is that those marketing the Seasilver liquid vitamin are taking advantage of the fact that most people are not equipped with an understanding of the principles behind absorption and bio-availability, and can present their product as having greater efficacy than it truly does, while at the same time "knocking down" all supplements that come in tablet or pill form.

Other things you should know about the Seasilver Liquid Vitamin: A Seasilver Review

If you follow the latest breaking health trends as we do, you may be aware of the many benefits of enzymes.

Enzymes have been revealed to possibly help disorders ranging from the caridovascular to the circulatory, not to mention enhancing the health of the lungs, kidneys, liver, and even brain in various ways.

Some of this research is being carried out by Medical Scientists at Harvard Medical School.

We have seen many sellers of the Seasilver liquid vitamin extolling the virtues of the enzymes in seasilver.

Our opinion: don't buy the hype.

The fact of the matter is that the enzyme component in these liquid vitamin products are negligible because the enzymes only exist in trace amounts, which were present in the food matrix. None are added.

And there's a reason for this:

Enzymes cannot be added to liquid vitamins because enzymes will rapidly deteriorate and can only survive in a liquid form for approxiately 2 to 3 hours.

Enzymes, however, can be a viable component in complex tablet form nutraceuticals and not suffer destruction like they do in liquid vitamin supplements.

Seasilver Review: Seasilver Fraud Or Not?

So what's the bottomline? A Seasilver fraud or not? Well, some people seem to think so, including the current Commissioner of the FDA, Mark B. McClellan, M.D., PhD, who stated: "This is the sort of intolerable health fraud I had in mind when I announced six months ago that the FDA will take vigorous actions against firms that prey on consumers and patients by selling worthless dietary supplements..."

What Dr. McClellan was referring to was the fact that production of the Seasilver liquid vitamin was recently halted by both the FTC and FDA due to illegal ways in which the product was marketed. Obviously, some very prominent people believe in a seasilver fraud. However, the latest news is that an agreement has been reached and the seasilver liquid vitamin will soon begin production again, but their marketing material will be drastically altered.

Seasilver Review: Nutritional-Supplement-Info's Opinion on the Seasilver Fraud

We honestly can't think of any reason why someone would choose to take Seasilver over a sophisticated nutraceutical supplement.

In fact, the only reason that makes any sense to us for anyone to take a liquid vitamin at all is if someone simply had great difficulty in swallowing tablets.

For those who cannot get their vitamins and minerals this way, a liquid vitamin would probably be better than nothing at all, unless you consumed a healthy, balanced diet.

If you are interested in learning more about a line of sophisticated Nutraceuticals that we here at Nutritional-Supplement-Info take ourselves, please see our review of Xtend-Life Natural Products. We hope you have found our Seasilver review helpful. We allow third party ads to be run on our site as you've seen; we do this so we don't give the impression of forcing our opinion on anyone.

We believe people should be allowed to make up their own minds what they want to take or not, irrespective of our predominantly negative Seasilver review.
