Menopause Diet Pills
Menopause diet pills are hot sellers in this day and age.
Many women claim they start to put on a great deal of weight during the menopause transition and therefore diet pills for menopause have become highly demanded products.
It is true that for many women (and men as well) our metabolism starts to slow down as we move through our 40's and 50's, but there is no real evidence to show that menopause per se causes weight gain.
However, many women do experience bloatedness during menopause and, as such, think a menopause diet pill is the answer to their problems.
It is not.
First, there are no diet pills for menopause per se; there are only diet pills in general, that promise fat loss and weight loss.
If you come across any pills marketed specifically as "menopause diet pills," it's important to understand that it's merely a disingenuous marketing campaign on the part of the company.
Now, there are fat burners and weight loss pills that do show promise. However, women who are transitioning through menopause should not take them.
Why?
Because the uncomfortable symptoms associated with menopause can be exacerbated by certain substances. One of these substances is caffeine.
That's why menopausal women generally should avoid coffee, tea, sodas, and other caffeine containing beverages.
Unfortunately, most of the effective weight loss/fat loss pills on the market contain substances that themselves contain lots of caffeine or other stimulants.
If you look at labels, you will often see such ingredients as: guarana, citrus aurantium (aka bitter orange), green tea extract, yerba mate, kolanut, and more.
These all contain caffeine or caffeine-like substances that can not only worsen menopause, but also have other side effects, ranging from: the jitters, nervousness, increased blood pressure, and heart palpitations.
The bottomline? We don't recommend diet pills for menopause although this does not mean there are not beneficial vitamins for menopause.
Now, if you are looking for natural nutrients that are both healthy and can help alleviate the symptoms of menopause itself, then you should read our pages on

Otherwise, try to stick to a sensible diet and avoid the menopause diet pill hype.
